GLOBAL CHANGE

BIOSTRUCTURE

RESILIENCE

Nature in its pristine states tends to be rich with biodiversity. This biodiversity exists across scales from genes to ecosystems and forms complex and beautiful interrelationships between the different scales. Here we research the non-random “structure” (biostructure; see definitions below) of nature that lies behind biodiversity and yields the critical ecosystem services and stability.

Our work is tied heavily to the goals of the

Center for Ecosystem Management.
